National Cancer Institute
The NCI is one of 27 institutes and centers that comprise the
U.S. National Institutes of Health, which is part of the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services. The NCI conducts and
supports research, training, education, and programs focused on the
cause, diagnosis, prevention, treatment of cancer, rehabilitation
from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and their
families.
Topotarget is party to a Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) with the
NCI under which the NCI sponsors a number of clinical trials
evaluating the activity of belinostat, either alone or in
combination with other anti-cancer therapies, for the treatment of
hematological cancers and thyroid cancer.
