ProductsThe company launched its first product Savene®, in Europe in October 2006 and in October 2007 the product was launched in the US under the name Totect® following approval from the FDA. EV is a rare but very serious complication for cancer patients receiving treatment with an anthracycline-based cytotoxin such as epirubicin, idarubicin, daunorubicin and doxorubicin. Savene®/Totect® has received orphan drug status in Europe and United States respectively for the treatment of anthracycline EV. Savene®/Totect® is the first and only product indicated for the treatment of anthracycline EV.
